Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions, ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing tasks at the highest level. Train and mentor associates, recognize contributions, and support a culture of belonging.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these principles in business practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners. Identify priorities, communicate progress, and suggest improvements.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
