Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet the needs of the business, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean and organized work area, ensures quality standards, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the members' experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest level, interacting with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and assisting in training.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing or related areas.
