Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support PMS 408 and related Navy acquisition programs.

You will perform requirements analysis, model-driven design, and architecture development using DODAF/NFARM within MBSE environments such as Naval IME, Cameo, and Teamwork Cloud. You will develop technical data packages, verification plans, and traceability matrices, while applying INCOSE guidelines and DoN standards.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required
• 5+ years DoD acquisition lifecycle experience
• Onsite work up to 5 days/week; telework may be available
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• Ability to work onboard Navy ships or other platforms

Responsibilities

• Support SE reviews and milestone decisions; develop technical documents and TDP components
• Model requirements with traceability from system to tests
• Develop architecture frameworks using DODAF and NFARM
• Create RTVMs, PSPECs, and test plans in modeling tools
• Apply INCOSE SE Handbook and DoN MBSE guidance
• Conduct simulations and trade‑off analyses using approved MBSE tools
