Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the PMS 408 portfolio, applying formal MBSE methods and tools in alignment with DoD standards.

You will work on architecture frameworks, requirements traceability, and system of systems analysis for acquisition programs and perform modeling with NavAL IME, Cameo, and Teamwork Cloud. The role requires DoD acquisition experience, an active Secret clearance, onsite work up to 5 days/week, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science (or 8+ years related experience)
• Active Secret clearance is required and must be maintained
• Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle per DoDI 5000.97
• Ability to work onsite up to 5 days per week; some telework may be available
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to generate, evaluate, and present technical reports and briefings

Responsibilities

• Support SETR and milestone decisions and other acquisition events/processes.
• Develop technical documents, drawings, and TDP components.
• Perform requirements analysis with traceability to system functionality and test constructs.
• Apply INCOSE SE Handbook and DoN standards to manage complex architectures.
• Conduct modeling and analysis using standard languages and MBSE tools.
