Job summary

ICI Services in Washington, DC seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer IV to advance MBSE across Navy programs. You will apply system modeling to requirements, architecture, and verification throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years of Navy shipbuilding experience, strong SysML/UML capabilities, and familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Sparx EA, or Rhapsody. Active SECRET clearance is preferred and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, naval architecture or related field.
• An active Professional Engineer License is preferred.
• 10+ years of Navy shipbuilding and defense systems experience.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
• Knowledge of SysML/UML and MBSE tools such as Cameo or similar.

Responsibilities

• Apply modeling to support requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation across the acquisition lifecycle phases.
• Provide MBSE analysis including open architecture model development and program documentation.
• Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Use models to support trade studies of system-of-system architectures (sensors, payloads, radar, etc.).
• Support development/review of models, documents, and technical acquisition documentation.
