Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Model Based Systems Engineer to lead MBSE activities for DoD C4I programs in a Navy modeling environment. You will advance MBSE standards, ontologies, and product directions, delivering actionable insights and architecture recommendations across the life cycle.

Your role includes developing and maintaining Navy MBSE tools like BCL, ID, and verification tooling, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring alignment with DoD frameworks and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MBSE tool experience (Cameo, MagicDraw, TWC).
• 3+ years modeling in Navy environments (N-IME, NDEE, TWC).
• 3+ years experience with SysML/UML/UAF/DoDAF.
• Experience with MBSE concepts (generalization, inheritance, refactoring, etc.).
• Experience with model transfer between enclaves (NIPR/SIPR, DOTS).
• Experience with model verification tools, metrics, and Jython scripting.
• Knowledge of JCA, UNTL/UJTL, JCSFL in architecture development.
• Ability to bridge MBSE capabilities with organizational needs.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support DE Lead to steer DE standards, ontologies, and work products.
• Develop and maintain Navy MBSE products (BCL, ID, Model Verification Tool, DRP).
• Provide technical oversight and mentor junior staff.
• Apply MBSE techniques for DoD C4I system life cycle development.
• Bridge MBSE capabilities with organizational needs to improve processes.
