Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Systems Engineer with MBSE expertise to support DoD weapon systems acquisition. The role emphasizes model-based systems engineering, MBSE standards, and rigorous technical documentation across the full design lifecycle.

You will work with government stakeholders and contractor teammates to translate requirements into design, architecture, and verifications, while mentoring teams in a multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoD weapon systems acquisition and SE&I experience.
• 5+ years performing systems engineering analysis and SE products for DoD/government.
• 5+ years MBSE for specifications, interfaces, system architecture.
• SysML and DoDAF knowledge; design reviews and requirements verification.
• Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• Bachelor’s in STEM; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues.
• Mentor or supervise employees in technical competencies.
• Perform systems engineering and program management in support of design reviews.
• Develop technical reports and collaborate with government stakeholders and contractor teammates.
• Establish collaborative relationships with government clients in a multi-vendor environment.
