Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead the full lifecycle from requirements through integration, focusing on radar performance, signal processing, and MBSE-driven development. The role requires deep experience with defense systems and MATLAB-based analysis.

Travel to test sites and collaboration with government stakeholders are key elements, with a strong emphasis on technical documentation and system-level optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Experience across full lifecycle: requirements to integration.
• Strong radar/sensor or defense systems knowledge.
• Experience in radar signal processing including waveform development.
• Ability to develop/model with simulations; MATLAB experience preferred.
• MBSE principles and tools experience desired.
• Ability to produce technical docs and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering from requirements to verification.
• Develop system specifications, interfaces, baselines.
• Support modeling, simulation, and performance analyses.
• Participate in radar integration, testing, reviews.
• Contribute to signal processing efforts including waveform and EMC.
• Assist with test planning and data analysis using MATLAB.
