Job summary

Mission Driven Research seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Missile Defense Agency's Targets and Countermeasures program office. You will develop and maintain SysML-based system architectures, trace requirements to artifacts, and integrate MBSE with simulations and data repositories to support major program milestone reviews.

Qualified candidates hold an active DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years of DoD program experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large scale DoD programs
• Proficiency with SysML and DoDAF/UAF
• Hands-on MBSE modeling with Cameo/MagicDraw/Sparx EA

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain descriptive system models using SysML across MDA programs
• Map system-level and component-level requirements to architecture artifacts with end-to-end traceability
• Support Digital Engineering initiatives by linking MBSE models with simulations and data repositories
• Prepare and present model-centric artifacts for milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, CCBs)
• Conduct architectural trade studies and model system interfaces to identify gaps
• Maintain version control and configuration baseline compliance for SysML models
