Job summary

Blue Origin, a leader in space exploration, seeks an experienced M&P Engineer to join the Lunar Permanence team. You will oversee materials and processes for crewed hardware, coordinate testing and qualification, and drive internal engineering standards to accelerate material evaluation and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in a related field with 8+ years of space program M&P experience, familiar with NASA requirements, and able to travel to vendor sites.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a relevant engineering field with substantial M&P experience.
• 8+ years of demonstrated M&P Engineering experience on a crewed space program.
• In-depth knowledge of NASA cleanliness, contamination, toxicity, and life support system materials requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad support for aerospace materials and processes.
• Own material and process requirement implementation for crew-facing hardware.
• Lead and coordinate material characterization and qualification efforts.
