Job summary

RTX in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Manager, Materials Planning and Production Control SME with DoD Secret clearance to lead KPI development and material flow strategies. You will standardize processes and align production control with program goals, while coordinating with QA, manufacturing, procurement and engineering.

The role focuses on capacity planning, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives in an onsite environment in the Tucson area.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, Factory Flow, logistics, or other production driven experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracking and monitoring at the factory level to support factory material goals and ensure compliance.
• Promote process standardization and best practices across the factory; document and implement standardized production control processes.
• Work closely with factory operations to align production control strategies with broader program goals.
• Support capacity planning and demand forecasting and resource allocation to meet factory requirements.
• Support and drive improvement opportunities to optimize production control workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
• Participates in projects and teams to accomplish continuous improvement – CORE.
• This is an onsite role in Tucson Arizona.
