Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a production planning and control professional to develop factory level tracking, promote standardized production control processes, and drive improvements to efficiency, quality and delivery.

The role requires 8+ years in planning, scheduling, production control or related fields, experience with MRP/ERP, and a DoD Secret security clearance. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, Factory Flow, logistics, or other production driven experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracking and monitoring at the factory level to support factory material goals and ensure compliance.
• Promote process standardization and best practices: collaborate on, document, and implement standardized production control processes across the factory.
• Identify, promote, and share best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with factory operations to ensure production control strategies align with broader program goals and constraints.
• Support capacity planning and demand forecasting and resource allocation to meet factory requirements.
• Support and drive improvement opportunities to optimize production control workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
• Participates in projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement – CORE.
