Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Manager, Material Program Management to lead a team of 8-10 and drive supplier performance for defense programs. This on-site role interfaces with the Program Office, IPT, and cross-functional teams to execute program objectives.

The candidate will manage EVM activities, material forecasting, and supplier risk, ensuring health of cost and schedule and coordinating with multiple functional areas to deliver critical program milestones.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience, typically 10+ years.
• Experience in supplier management, project management, and/or program management.
• Experience using manufacturing/enterprise planning tools like Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM.

Responsibilities

• Interface between Supply Chain and IPT and cross-functional teams for development and production contracts.
• Lead earned value management activities including quarterly EACs and material forecasting.
• Ensure supplier material management, forecasting, and adherence to cost and schedule requirements.
