Job summary

RTX, in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a supply chain professional to optimize material flow and production coordination. The role involves coordinating with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure timely work orders and material availability.

Ideal candidates have a university degree or related experience, with knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and the ability to obtain a security clearance. This is an onsite position at our Tucson facility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience within Supply Chain, Production Control, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Operations, or other production driven environments.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy.
• Improve processes for assemblies in progress, material availability, and production problems.
• Solve production problems to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Support analysis of Bills of Material in an MRP system; releasing work orders and tracking material through the assembly process.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
