Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager to lead overall materials management for the SM-3 IIA program in Tucson, AZ. The role requires DoD Secret clearance and onsite work at Raytheon facilities.

You will manage cost, schedule, quality, supplier performance, and coordinate with IPT and Program Manager to achieve program goals. The ideal candidate has operations, supply chain, or contracting experience, strong project management, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain role or related role such as Production Control, Operations, Finance or Supplier Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
• Own Material Forecasts and identification of risks and opportunities.
• Manage material budgets and support EACs.
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement/management.
• Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
• Participate in supplier engagements and review to ensure supplier performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and address program and functional issues.
• Generate Supplier Requests for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs)
• Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and adherence to the plan.
• Travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <25%)
