Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Buyer/Planner III to optimize material flow and execute purchasing for designated product lines. You will maintain supplier relationships, manage PO lifecycles, and align sourcing with strategic goals and financial plans.

The role requires 5+ years of purchasing experience, ERP proficiency, and strong collaboration with business units and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, in SCM, Business, Finance or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience; planning and assembly ops preferred.
• Prior manufacturing ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and execute purchase orders based on tactical parameters.
• Manage PO lifecycle including creation, maintenance and follow-through.
• Maintain reorder points and lot sizes for components.
• Negotiate pricing and execute POs/agreements with suppliers.
• Place orders with approved suppliers and verify pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Respond to expediting requests and quote lead times to customer service.
• Provide machining and assembly schedules to production daily; schedule overtime as needed.
• Review backlog and expedite components to reduce past-due orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and alert if commitments are at risk.
• Manage material flow to maintain optimal inventory levels.
