Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Materials Manager II at our Erie, PA facility to lead planning, purchasing, inventory, and logistics to optimize material flow and customer delivery. You will drive SIOP, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement within a high-performing team.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP expertise, 8+ years in materials management, and leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
8+ years' experience in materials management, supply chain, purchasing, inventory planning, scheduling or logistics.
3+ years of leadership experience managing planning, purchasing, or materials teams.
Experience with engineered-to-order, make-to-order, assembly-to-order, or mixed manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience leading supplier management, inventory optimization, forecasting, and SIOP processes.
Strong understanding of ERP systems including MRP, purchasing, inventory management, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Planning, Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping, and Logistics professionals to execute the site's materials strategy.
Own inventory performance including availability, value, accuracy, turns and days on hand.
Establish and manage inventory strategies, safety stock, and planning parameters for purchased and manufactured components.
Own materials portion of SIOP including supply planning, capacity planning, and forecasting.
Drive on-time delivery and efficient inventory utilization by aligning demand, schedules, and supplier capabilities.
Lead forecasting and order fulfillment to meet customer requirements while optimizing working capital.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage escalation and corrective actions.
