Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage material replenishment, inventory control, and production planning to ensure on-time delivery. This onsite role supports manufacturing operations and interacts with suppliers and internal teams.

You will place purchase orders, drive cost savings through lean tools, monitor Kanban and MRP, and collaborate with production schedulers, quality, and engineering to resolve issues. US citizen or green card is required for ITAR purposes.

Qualifications

• Two+ years experience with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field, or 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong technical background combining education and work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and translate into strategic plans.
• Kanban experience; Oracle software preferred.
• Understanding Lean Manufacturing and Kanban supply chains.
• Self-starter with urgency; change-agent capable.
• ITAR considerations: US citizen, permanent resident or green card.
• Location: USA; onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for materials and confirm delivery with suppliers.
• Lead Lean Materials process improvements to reduce late POs and stockouts.
• Drive inventory reduction and cost savings using lean tools and negotiations.
• Coordinate priorities with outside suppliers and internal operations.
• Monitor Kanban system, adjust to demand patterns and run MRP.
• Generate forecasts, stocking agreements and define min/max levels with vendors.
• Drive inventory reduction, cost savings and on-time delivery.
• Support production schedulers, customer service, product managers and engineering.
• Resolve quality issues with the quality team and suppliers.
• Process invoice reconciliation with Receiving and Accounts Payable.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
