Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manager II, Materials to lead all materials management activities for the Stearns Product Value Stream. You will oversee production planning, purchasing, inventory management, supplier performance, and logistics with over $40 million in annual spend.

You will develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize quality, cost, and delivery while supporting growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a Materials Manager role.
• Proven negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory control and supplier performance in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing TCO initiatives and cost-reduction programs.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic supply chain plans to optimize purchasing and exceed $40M annual spend.
• Direct purchasing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
• Develop cost-saving pipelines and drive cost-reduction programs.
• Lead make-vs-buy decisions and major capital purchasing.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and support MRO activities.
• Participate in enterprise/global supply chain projects.
• Supervise and develop Materials Planners, Buyers, Schedulers, and Expeditors.
