Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp is seeking a Materials Manager for its Charlotte, NC facility. The role leads purchasing, planning, and inventory control to meet financial and operating goals within a $98M+ business.

Responsibilities include optimizing raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory, driving ERP improvements, and leading a team of planners and buyers. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 7+ years in materials and supply chain with 2+ years of supervision, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Materials.
• 7+ years in direct material, inventory planning, supplier management, and strategy development, plus 2+ years supervising professionals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing abilities across levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially MRP, Scheduling, and Purchasing, and strong financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a planning/purchasing team to move goods from supplier to receipt, production, and shipment readiness.
• Manage inventory performance across Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods; optimize stock levels and reduce excess/obsolete.
• Set inventory strategies and monitor performance; contribute to SIOP for materials availability and forecasts.
• Improve ERP effectiveness through parameter tuning and automation in planning/scheduling.
• Ensure supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee materials department processes: procurement, material handling, scheduling, receiving, shipping, forecasting, demand management.
• Coach teams in problem-solving and data-driven decision-making; lead cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Develop planners and buyers; hire, coach, assign work, and manage performance.
