Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks a Senior Materials Manager to oversee material sourcing, procurement and on-site contractor coordination for energy infrastructure projects. You will manage inventory, forecast material needs, and liaise with project teams and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.

The role requires extensive field-based work, travel up to 90%, and strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced EPC environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant career experience in the construction industry and EPC projects in electric power delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops material management practices and works with client and vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement to meet construction/material delivery schedules.
• Perform material take-offs and determine necessary materials for project completion.
• Manage lead times, reservations, and scheduling for materials.
• Direct vendor shipments and ensure timely deliveries to project sites.
• Maintain inventory and perform on-site material audits & warehousing.
