Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Master Planner to translate customer demand into actionable manufacturing plans. You will balance materials, capacity, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery and smooth production flow. You will work across functions to resolve constraints and continuously improve planning accuracy and efficiency.

ideal candidates have strong MPS/MRP knowledge, ERP experience, and a track record of mentoring planning teams to meet demanding production targets.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of MPS, MRP, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
Strong knowledge of BOMs, routings, inventory transactions, and material planning processes.
Ability to analyze demand, material availability, capacity, and constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) from demand, materials, and capacity.
Load and maintain the MPS within ERP systems, including PO coverage.
Ensure MPS accuracy and alignment with demand and manufacturing capabilities.
Drive the 95% MPS performance goal and on-time delivery targets.
Own production planning activities and support BOM and document control.
Collaborate with Manufacturing to assess performance and adjust schedules.
Optimize quantities and sequencing to minimize changeovers and delays.
