Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Production Planner to manage all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentor the planning team. You will own the Master Production Schedule, ensure 100% on-time delivery, and maintain accurate material control and forecasting to support customer demand.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with several years of experience, APICS certification preferred, and strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems. A rewarding benefits package accompanies this position at Jabil.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times and complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events that must occur in order to build a product.

Responsibilities

• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP system, including PO coverage.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain 100% on-time delivery and 95% MPS goal.
• Lead planning activities with BOMs and routings.
• Manage EOL and BOM accuracy.
• Ensure safety and security procedures.
