Job summary

SCIEX in Danvers, MA is seeking a Senior Territory Sales Manager in Mass Spectrometry to drive revenue in the Eastern MA region, including Cambridge. You will lead strategic accounts, forecast sales, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win new business while expanding existing relationships.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Life Sciences, 5+ years of capital equipment sales experience in mass spectrometry, and a proven record in account management.

Qualifications

• Mass Spectrometry sales expertise with market knowledge and emerging applications.
• Advanced Mass Spectrometry theory and practice; 5+ years capital equipment sales.
• Exceptional account management and prospecting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within territory and occasional overnight travel.
• Must live within the Greater Boston area with ability to travel within the territory and work remotely from home office.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales.
• Use sales tools and CRM to manage funnel and achieve business results, with regular weekly updates.
• Show in-depth understanding of our products, systems and services and have the ability to leverage knowledge of the competitive landscape to achieve sales in new markets.
• Work in a team selling environment to navigate complex sales situations across multiple departments within SCIEX and with sales personnel from other Danaher OpCos.
• Use advanced account planning tools to help guide own work to solve complex sales problems in order to grow prospects and expand pipeline.
