Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Program Manager for Marketing Technology to own the delivery, governance, and evolution of the Marketing Technology portfolio. You will lead end-to-end program management across the MarTech stack, coordinating across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, and Analytics teams.

The role requires deep technical program management capabilities, experience with marketing platforms and integrations, and a proven ability to drive roadmap execution with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, complex technology programs across multiple functions.
• Experience with Marketing Technology platforms: marketing automation, CRM, CMS, data, and digital experience technologies.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, platform dependencies, and enterprise SaaS technologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior leadership.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Own program management and delivery across the Marketing Technology portfolio, aligning initiatives with Marketing and Technology priorities.
• Lead complex MarTech programs from planning through delivery, including roadmaps, dependencies, risks, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, and other teams to coordinate priorities and drive execution.
• Provide governance and oversight for the MarTech landscape, including integrations, lifecycle planning, technical debt, and investments.
• Drive executive-level communications on program health, risks, dependencies, decisions, and achievements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve the MarTech ecosystem and drive process improvements.
