Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Program Manager for Marketing Technology to own delivery, governance, and evolution of the Marketing Technology portfolio. You will lead end-to-end program initiatives across the MarTech stack, coordinating with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and other teams to drive roadmap execution.

The role requires strong technical program management capabilities along with deep knowledge of marketing platforms, integrations, APIs, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, complex technology programs across multiple functions.
• Experience with Marketing Technology platforms and ecosystems, including marketing automation, CRM, CMS, consumer data, insights, and digital experience technologies.
• Good understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, platform dependencies, and enterprise SaaS technologies.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with senior leadership.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Own program management and delivery across the Marketing Technology (MarTech) portfolio, aligning with Marketing and Technology priorities.
• Lead complex MarTech programs from planning through delivery, including roadmaps, dependencies, risks, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics and other teams to drive successful execution.
• Provide governance and oversight of the MarTech landscape, including platform integrations, technology lifecycle planning, debt, and investment priorities.
• Drive executive-level communication and reporting on program health, risks, decisions, and achievements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve the MarTech ecosystem, including evaluating new technologies and improving integrations.
