AspenTech, a leader in industrial software, seeks a Market Research Director to drive market sizing, customer insights, and competitive intelligence. You will shape product strategy and go-to-market decisions with rigorous research programs and stakeholder collaboration.

In this role, you will lead qualitative and quantitative studies, interview engineers and enterprise buyers, and synthesize findings to guide portfolio strategy and business development priorities.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, strategic marketing, product marketing, management consulting, or business strategy in high-tech industries.
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills with strong executive presentation capabilities.
• Proven ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
• Experience working with highly technical products and customer
• Track record of influencing product and go-to-market strategy through research insights.

Aufgaben

• Market Research & Sizing: develop methodologies for market sizing and identify new logo targets.
• Customer Research & Insights: design qualitative and quantitative research with engineers and executives.
• Industry & Segmentation Analysis: identify verticals and segments with highest opportunity.
• Competitive Intelligence: monitor competitor roadmaps, pricing, GTM moves, partnerships, M&A.
