Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Senior Maritime Engineer to support Navy and DoD maritime programs, systems, and waterfront operations. The role requires collaboration with government customers and engineers to translate requirements into executable solutions, and to operate across planning, testing, sustainment, and field activities.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Navy/maritime experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams at various locations, including Newport,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy/DoD maritime programs.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and travel to installations.
• Strong written and verbal communication of complex technical information.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Navy maritime programs and projects.
• Design, integrate, test, and sustain maritime systems and equipment.
• Review drawings, specifications, and data packages.
• Coordinate with Navy/DoD customers and stakeholders.
• Support testing, readiness reviews, and field operations.
• Ensure compliance with Navy/DoD standards and processes.
