Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to support U.S. Navy and DoD maritime projects. You will work across planning, design, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems, interfacing with government customers and multiple teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, significant Navy/DoD experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. Travel to Navy installations and facilities is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting Navy/DoD maritime programs or related engineering efforts.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, documentation, design reviews, and system integration.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for U.S. Navy maritime and DoD programs.
• Assist in planning, design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of maritime systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical data to support engineering decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors, shipyards, government personnel and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support testing, field operations, and readiness activities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
