Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to support Navy and DoD customers, providing engineering expertise across planning, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.

The role requires active Secret clearance, strong documentation skills, and ability to collaborate with government customers, engineers, and vendors across multiple locations. A Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional engineering experience supporting Navy/DoD maritime programs.
• Significant experience in maritime, naval, ocean, or waterfront engineering.
• Strong understanding of design reviews, system integration, and engineering change management.
• Ability to translate requirements into executable engineering solutions and document deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Navy maritime programs and projects.
• Support design, development, testing, installation, operation, and sustainment of maritime systems.
• Review drawings, specs, data packages, and procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with Navy DoD customers, industry partners, and stakeholders on technical activities.
• Contribute to reports, cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.
