Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Senior Maritime Engineer to support U.S. Navy and DoD maritime programs. The role involves engineering, testing, integration, and field readiness across waterfront, vessels, and maritime infrastructure.

The candidate will work with Government customers, engineers, and contractors, translating mission requirements into practical engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with Navy and DoD standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy, NAVSEA, NAVFAC, NSWC, NUWC, or other Navy/DoD maritime programs.
• Experience with maritime, naval, ocean, waterfront, vessel, or marine engineering efforts.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, documentation, design review, system integration, and engineering change management.
• Ability to travel to Navy installations and Government locations as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance or installation access.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for U.S. Navy maritime, waterfront, and ocean engineering programs and projects.
• Support planning, design, development, integration, testing, evaluation, installation, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of maritime systems.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical data packages, and calculations.
• Develop and review engineering designs, analyses, plans, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Navy/DoD customers and multidisciplinary teams.
