Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking an experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to support Navy and DoD customers, providing planning, design, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.

The ideal candidate will have deep Navy/maritime program experience, strong collaboration with government customers and cross-functional teams, and be willing to travel to Navy facilities and shipyards as required. An active Secret clearance is preferred to be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Navy/maritime programs and technical documentation
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in complex environments
• Willingness to travel to Navy installations, shipyards, and government facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for U.S. Navy maritime and waterfront programs
• Assist in design reviews, testing, installation, operation, and sustainment of maritime systems
• Interpret drawings, specs, technical data packages, and calculations
• Develop technical deliverables, analyses, and cost estimates
• Coordinate activities with vendors, shipyards, and government customers
• Support on-site engineering during testing, field ops, and maintenance
