Job summary

LAUKOA seeks an experienced Senior Maritime Engineer to support DoD Navy programs, providing technical leadership across planning, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.

The role requires Navy/DoD maritime experience, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel to Navy installations as needed, with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy/DoD maritime programs or related Navy/maritime engineering work.
• Experience with maritime, naval, ocean, waterfront, vessel, undersea, or marine engineering.
• Strong理解 of engineering principles, documentation, design review, system integration, testing, and change management.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in complex technical environments.
• Ability to travel to Navy installations and Government locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for U.S. Navy maritime, waterfront, and ocean engineering programs and projects.
• Support planning, design, development, integration, testing, evaluation, installation, and sustainment of maritime systems.
• Review technical documentation and assist in development of designs, analyses, and plans.
• Participate in design reviews, readiness reviews, test events, and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including vendors, shipyards, and Government personnel.
