Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston is seeking a Project Superintendent, Marine to lead marine infrastructure, berth, dredging, and vessel support projects in support of terminal operations and construction programs.

You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and timely execution while coordinating with shipping, operations, engineering, and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Marine experience and marine project experience required.
• Knowledge of LNG tankers favorable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics or related field, or 5 years of work experience.
• Familiarity with maritime regulations (USCG, IMO, ISGOTT, SIGTTO).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Maritime Studies, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in the marine industry focusing on marine projects, port and terminal operations.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine infrastructure, terminal, berth, dredging, vessel support, and waterfront projects.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution plans.
• Complete marine assurance reviews and validations with reports.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project costs and performance metrics.
• Manage reporting and communicate status updates to leadership.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and operational impacts.
• Coordinate with shipping, operations, engineering, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
