Job summary

Voith Turbo is seeking a Field Expert II - Marine to deliver on-site and remote field service across the Americas. You will inspect, troubleshoot, overhaul Voith Marine products, lead trials, and supervise project tasks while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires significant marine mechanical power transmission experience, shipboard expertise, and strong communication; travel is required. fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive marine mechanical power transmission experience.
• Shipboard or maritime experience required.
• Ability to supervise mechanical projects and direct assistance.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with MS-Office.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• USCG license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and overhaul Voith Marine products.
• Lead dock and sea trials upon completion of work.
• Provide supervisory assistance during commissioning and maintenance.
• Act as project manager to secure service timelines.
• Support direct sales with service expertise.
• Prepare service analyses and reports on maintenance and failures.
• Travel internationally as required.
• Promote after-sales programs and upgrades.
