Job summary

ABB Marine & Ports Division seeks a Technical Support professional to deliver remote and on-site assistance for MV/LV drives used on vessels worldwide. You will diagnose technical issues, provide guidance to operators, and document cases using ABB’s end-to-end processes.

The role requires strong electrical engineering background, experience with marine power generation, and willingness to travel for on-site support. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Four or more years’ experience in marine power generation and power distribution with a focus on variable frequency drives, both low and medium voltage, and control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another Electrical technical field.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore work environment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for customers’ operation people with marine products and systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues; guide customers and internal teams.
• Remote support from office via telephone, email and chats; participate in field service activities as needed.
