Job summary

Orion Marine Contractors in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Marine and Heavy Civil Construction to lead complex self-perform projects and ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery for public and private clients.

Responsibilities include project leadership, bid development, cost control, supplier/subcontractor coordination, and schedule management, with emphasis on safety, quality, and client relations. Local Hawaii candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Eight+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in marine/self-performing heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level project management leadership to project teams and subcontractors.
• Develop bid proposals and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to meet profitability goals.
• Interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and technical documents for project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Promote safety and environmental compliance across all project activities.
