Job summary

Orion Marine Contractors Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for marine construction in Honolulu, onsite. This role supports project teams, develops bid packages, procures materials, and interprets plans to drive successful project delivery.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering/Construction Science and at least 2 years’ experience in PM, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and safety compliance. Travel and leadership by example are valued traits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Science is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Knowledge of PM, procurement, estimating, scheduling and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management Team to ensure timely project completion.
• Develop bid packages for subcontractors and procure materials.
• Interpret project plans and specifications; schedule work per timeline.
• Interface with project team, suppliers, customers, and others involved.
• Maintain safe work environment and adhere to safe practices.
• Assist in development of bid proposals for future marine projects.
