Job summary

Orion Marine Construction in Houston, TX is seeking an Estimator to support bid and proposal efforts across complex marine infrastructure projects. This hands-on role targets professionals with 5+ years of marine or heavy civil estimating experience who want to influence project outcomes from preconstruction onward.

Qualifications

5+ years estimating in marine construction or heavy civil projects.
Familiar with project estimating, procurement, and scheduling.
Strong cost control, safety, and environmental compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead bid estimation for marine structures including bridges, wharves, and piers.
Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing for proposals.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes.
Review bid documents for risk, cost, and company capability.
Prepare bid documents and final pre-bid worksheets.
Support safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
