• Sets reserves within authority and makes claim recommendations.
• Negotiates and settles claims with stakeholders and outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors assignments to experts and outside counsel.
• Prepares coverage position letters and documents.
• Investigates loss facts and extent of damages.
• Coordinates information for meetings with underwriters and insureds.
• Travels to mediations, trials, and conferences as required.
