Job summary

American Foods Group in Long Prairie, MN is seeking a Talent Acquisition (Recruiting) Specialist to lead the full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salary manufacturing roles at our Long Prairie facility. You will partner with plant leadership to assess needs, develop strategies, and manage the end-to-end process from sourcing to onboarding.

You will drive process improvements, track key metrics, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing employees.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole; bi-lingual preferred.
• Prior experience in high volume recruiting in beef, protein, or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and responsibility for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salary manufacturing positions at the Long Prairie, MN facility.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting strategies.
• Source, screen, interview, and manage offers and onboarding.
• Optimize recruiting processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
• Attend job fairs and use social media to attract talent.
• Develop and align national search and marketing strategies with leadership.
• Track recruiting metrics and produce reports to drive improvement.
• Coordinate with HR on new hire benefits and orientation.
• Maintain iCIMS postings and candidate data.
