Job summary

CAVA, based out of Verona, VA, is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer Manufacturing to lead core technical functions across OT, facility management, and mobile technology on the Verona plant. You will oversee hardware and software for OT, drive improvements, and ensure security and reliability of operations.

You will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing technology to support growth, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with demonstrated success as an engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related program preferred
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to pursue goals
• A collaborative team player that can support cross functional initiatives
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers
• Strong planning and analysis skills
• Proven track record of good performance and attendance
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support OT systems: maintain equipment inventory, provide field support, ensure patching and maintenance, design and manage OT tech systems, drive vendor accountability to SLAs, identify cost optimization opportunities, procure equipment, use data to identify remediation needs, ensure OT network security.
• Support facility management systems: maintain and monitor facility management systems, continually improve coverage, drive vendor accountability to SLAs, identify long-term cost optimization opportunities.
• Support mobile technology: maintain inventory and configuration management, ensure maintenance and patching, provide field support and speedy resolution of issues.
