Job summary

TAS, a Houston-based engineering and manufacturing firm, is seeking a Senior Operations Project Manager to lead high-value projects with broad cross-functional impact. You will shape execution strategy, own labor planning and capacity, and drive continuous improvement across fabrication, assembly, test, and shipment stages.

The role requires 8–12+ years in manufacturing or operations, strong finance and scheduling discipline, and the ability to mentor a growing OPM team while aligning shop-floor

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in manufacturing or operations roles with large, complex projects
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality and planning
  • Strong financial and schedule ownership with CPI/SPI forecasting and risk mitigation

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large, complex manufacturing projects to meet cost, schedule, quality, and customer commitments
  • Define execution strategy including labor planning, capacity management, sequencing, and risk mitigation
  • Own project financials and schedule performance; provide executive-level reporting and analysis
  • Mentor and guide OPM I and II staff to ensure consistent execution practices
  • Drive risk management, RCA, and corrective actions; champion standard work and continuous improvement across TAS operations
