Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, TAS division in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager II to independently plan, execute, and deliver moderate-scope manufacturing and operations projects. You will own execution strategy, lead cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics and Planning, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

Applicants should have 5–8 years in manufacturing or operations project execution, strong cost/schedule management,

Qualifications

5-8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations or project execution.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution accountability.
Experience with fabrication, welding and assembly processes.
High proficiency in blue print reading and P&ID interpretation.
Experience with Lean and ISO 9001 quality management.

Responsibilities

Develop, own, and execute Production and Project Execution Plans.
Lead cross-functional execution activities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics and Planning.
Own project cost and schedule performance with CPI/SPI analysis and EAC forecasting.
Identify and mitigate execution risks related to labor, materials, capacity, and vendor performance.
Lead corrective action planning for variances impacting cost, schedule or quality.
Represent Operations in project team meetings and with suppliers and customers.
