Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. in Arvada, CO, is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimization across machining, assembly, test, and injection molding.

The role is on-site, day shift, salaried, and reports to the Shop Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities include developing and validating manufacturing processes, creating NC programs, evaluating plastics, improving workflow, and leading Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S initiatives to drive cost reduction and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years CAD/CAM software experience; Siemens NX preferred.
• 3+ years machining, metal cutting, plastics manufacturing, or related production.
• Experience with diverse metallurgies such as carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy, aluminum.
• Experience with engineered plastic components, molded ETFE components or injection molded fabrication preferred.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes across machining, assembly, test, and fabrication.
• Create, revise, and maintain NC programs, fixturing, tooling, and work instructions.
• Evaluate plastics resins, manufacturing methods, tooling, and process improvements for cost and quality.
• Improve efficiency by analyzing workflow, layout, and process capability while maintaining quality.
• Lead cost analysis, standard costing, and capital investment justification.
• Participate in traceability, BOM, routings, and corrective actions.
• Support non-conforming material disposition and root cause investigations.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and 5S initiatives to reduce waste and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with supervision, operators, engineers, QA, and planning to resolve issues.
• Support injection molding training for sealless magnetic-drive pump products.
• Identify and justify capital equipment investments and CAPEX requests.
