Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor in Arvada, CO on-site to lead a multi‑shift machining team. You will mentor machinists, planners, programmers, and operators, and partner with EH&S, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to meet production goals while driving safety, quality, and delivery performance.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will develop production schedules, optimize workflow, and apply lean methods to reduce cost, improve OEE, and ensure a safe, organized

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• 3+ years leading teams in production/machine shop
• Knowledge of machining operations, tooling, planning, workflow optimization
• Strong communication, collaboration, and planning skills
• Mechanical aptitude, problem solving, attention to detail
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to work in office and indoor factory environments
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop machinists and staff while fostering safety and accountability
• Manage machine shop operations across 3 shifts
• Develop and execute production schedules; monitor progress
• Drive on-time delivery and productivity improvements
• Partner with EH&S to maintain safety culture
• Implement and maintain quality control processes
• Oversee maintenance and TPM activities
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing
