Job summary
Honeywell Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Welding Engineer to optimize production workflows, drive continuous improvement, and lead advanced manufacturing initiatives onsite. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, analyze data, and mentor others to raise quality and efficiency across manufacturing operations.
The role emphasizes welding technologies (TIG, electron beam), lean practices, GD&T, and CAD capability, with a strong focus on safety and compliance, reporting to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing.
- Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
- Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and AMS2750 specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and align with business objectives.
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
