Job summary

Quest Global in Houston, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements and production support across industrial environments. The role focuses on increasing productivity, quality, and safety while reducing costs.

You will develop work instructions, conduct time studies, design fixtures, and collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, procurement, and suppliers. A Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 5–10 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering and 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Experience in process development, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, BOMs, tooling, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and QC work methods.
• Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical support to production, quality, planning, and maintenance teams.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances, quality issues, and rework activities.
• Manage Concession Requests, QNotes, and manufacturing change activities.
• Drive machine and process improvement projects.
• Interface with suppliers, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve manufacturing challenges and support operational goals.
