Northrop Grumman is seeking a multi-disciplined Manufacturing Engineer to support precision navigation instrument assembly and test in an Aerospace and Defense production environment. This full-time onsite role is based in Woodland Hills, CA.

You will own the process flow, design manufacturing processes and layouts, work with design, quality and shop floor teams, and contribute to continuous improvement in a clean room setting. A BS in STEM and 5+ years of engineering experience are required.

Competenze

• BS in STEM with 5+ years engineering experience; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD
• Experience presenting to Operations leadership and briefing on process status, improvements and timelines
• Experience working as part of an integrated team including technicians, engineering peers and Sr. level engineers

Mansioni

• Own the process flow, verify accuracy and efficiency of machinery, equipment, and processes
• Investigate and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts for production flow and equipment installation
• Guide design engineering on concepts and specification requirements for optimal equipment use
• Collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, and shop-floor personnel on a regular basis
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan
• Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and control plans
