Job summary

Ferrotec is seeking a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead day-to-day operations across contract manufacturing sites. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while meeting customer commitments.

You will partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, and Finance to execute production plans, improve efficiency, and support growth. Strong leadership and continuous improvement experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related discipline.
8+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience in high-mix/low-volume and contract manufacturing environments.
3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience managing supervisors and production personnel.
Experience driving KPIs including safety, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 6S, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
Provide coaching and development for supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
Drive KPIs such as safety, on-time delivery, productivity, FPY, and inventory accuracy.
Partner with Planning and Customer Service to develop and execute production schedules.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce waste.
